Education, confidence, hope & peace

Kim - Kwezi

Today, I stood in a room full of young women as event MC and felt the energy shift from intrepidation to hope and possibility as they were about to embark on a year long program that could very well change the course of their lives with my bestie @tracyannklokie owner of @khwezidev who I have had the privilege of working with over the course of this year since opening my Connective Consulting company. Her own story behind her brand, one for another day, is remarkably inspiring! (Note to self* must launch my vid series on the phenomenonal people I know) and one of hard work, passion and incredible faith and grit and get to work with this team and today be part of this event, goosebumps!

When I tell you I was covered in goosebumps for almost the entire event, I assure you in today’s Durban humidity, it was not from cold; the young women in this room today have a journey of commitment to learning ahead of them but the spark in their eyes being selected for an opportunity to upskill and empower themselves was undeniable and their growing excitement audible as we chatted about the impact this could make in their lives, family, and community as a whole!

Today, I was once again reminded how HOPE is being able to see that there is light despite all the darkness; how being allowed to dream of bigger things, whatever those things are for each of us, ignites something so powerful within and how, when you have people that believe in you, you feel like you can accomplish anything!
